Food, water and materials are bought near the families, which is faster and keeps money in local hands.

Local partners deliver the aid and record what reached whom, so every appeal can be checked.

Why we started

The people closest to a crisis usually know exactly what is needed. The hard part is getting money to them quickly.

So we keep it simple. Each appeal is one need, in one place, with a goal you can see. You choose where your gift goes, and the page shows what it has added up to.

Food is bought near the families who eat it. Repairs are done by local builders. Partners on the ground record what was delivered, and we post it here.

Questions before you give

To the appeal you choose. A gift made to “where it is needed most” goes to the open appeal with the most urgent gap.

If an appeal reaches its goal, further gifts to it are used for the same need in the next appeal of its kind.
